Do you know what will make you a millionaire the quickest?

No, it’s not real estate.

No, it’s not the lottery.

No, it’s not the latest “Get rich quick scheme”

It is………….drum roll please

A prospect list.

What is that supposed to mean?

Well, listen closely my friend because I’m about to let you in on a secret that turned my failure of a network marketing business into a cash cow.

You see, I’m no different than anyone else. I struggled for so long in network marketing just trying to break even.

That is until I discovered the value and power of a list. But not just any list, one that I created myself.

I quickly realized that I was playing the game just like everyone else. The rule of the game was to see who can scream loudest about their network marketing opportunity. Just look around the internet and you’ll see what I mean.

“Our ORAC value is higher than yours”
“Our compensation plan pays you to sit on the couch and eat pizza”
“Our management team all graduated from Harvard”
“Our company is the next Microsoft”

The internet is flooded with people using those “old-school” mlm techniques and guess what…..THEY DON’T WORK. Big surprise right?

You see, people don’t want a network marketing opportunity. They want what it can give them which is time with their family, financial freedom, allow them to quit their job etc.

So while you are saying how great your business opportunity is, prospects are signing up with other people……..why?

Take a look at these two statements.

  1. Hi, take a look at this amazing company XYZ. The compensation plan is amazing…look at the money you can make. Look at the management team and their past success. This is the next Microsoft. You should join now.
  2. Hi, I’m with XYZ company. I have a free step by step e-book that will show you how to attract prospects and help you build your downline.

Statement 1 is a pitch fest and statement 2 is the key that all your prospects are looking for….. a solution to their problems. They don’t care about a pitch fest they want to team up with someone who will set out a game plan to help them succeed.

People will only join you if they like you, perceive you as a valuable resource and trust you. This is why buying leadscold calls is so difficult and unless you enjoy cold calling, it is a waste of your time. The best way to begin attracting prospects onto your list is by providing free valuable content, preferably on your own web site or lead capture page. or making

Once someone has taken the time to give you their contact information you have an absolute obligation to provide them with valuable content and not turn it into a pitch fest. Once you have established yourself as a valuable resource and built trust, introducing your opportunity will be much easier.

So, take the time to get to know people and help people.

I work with all of my new team members to implement this secret.  It has been amazing.

This is what will separate you from the rest of the network marketing crowd.

When others see you providing help and information (whether it’s health and wellness, or any other topic) you will have loads of prospects flocking to you and your list of prospects will grow.  Trust me.  Be a servant to others and watch your business grow.
