It’s a shame that so many people are without proper guidance and direction. I’m here to tell you that you only failed because your upline did not know how to utilize attraction marketing.

Does it make sense to talk to someone about your opportunity who has never expressed any interest in what you have to offer? Of course not.

I was that guy who was blinded by dollar signs and talked to every family member, friend and co-worker I could get in touch with. If I only knew then what I know now.

You see I was forced to either quit my network marketing career or buckle down and learn what I was doing wrong.

I was amazed with new terms and ideas like marketing funnel, opt-in page, autoresponder, lead capture page, attraction marketing and so many other amazing marketing techniques.

I’ll never forget my first call with a prospect who couldn’t wait for my call. I was blown away. I had a prospect who actually wanted to hear from me.

Lead generation for your network marketing opportunity is easier than you may think.

Many people ask me, “Matt, how do I generate leads to my network marketing opportunity?”  When people ask me this very common question I respond by telling them that their question is not the right one to be asking.  Let me explain.

Your network marketing opportunity should not be your focus in your marketing efforts.  How many people on the internet are telling you that:

• Their product is number 1
• They are in a company that will be the next Microsoft
• Their compensation plan is revolutionary
• The ORAC value of their product is off the charts
• You only have to sponsor a handful of people and you’ll be rich
• You’re missing out if you don’t join this company
• Just sign up and they will build your downline for you

That’s all just plain bull and finally people are realizing this scam type marketing tactics are simply lies to build a downline.  The people that do join based on these type of claims quickly realize that their millionaire dreams are quickly fading away.  They get frustrated and quit.

So, what are people looking for?  They are not looking for you to tell them how great your company is.  They simply want someone with integrity, compassion, leadership and values.  They want to know that as a leader you will guide them, support them and help them build a downline.

Whatever you do, do not lie to them.  Let’s be honest, you will not build their downline for them.  No high income earner in network marketing does this.  They will not become rich overnight.  This is a business.  It takes work and time.  Anything worth having takes time and effort.

So, by now you should realize that you should not focus on promoting your opportunity, you should focus on promoting YOU.

Yes, YOU are what people are looking for.  You have more to offer prospects than your company does.  If prospects resonate with you, trust you and know they have a leader in you, they will team up with you and follow your teachings.

And if you still think promoting your company is the way to go, think about how many network marketing companies have come and gone.  Promoting yourself is the smartest marketing move you can make.  You will build a downline of loyal followers who will stick with you no matter what company you are with.

When a prospect is on the internet looking for what you have to offer how are you going to capture their contact information?

Let’s say it’s 11pm and they come across your site. Who is available to take their contact information. Without the proper use of your website this lead will leave without a way for you to contact them.

That’s when the right people, materials, emails and books were placed in front of me. That’s when I started to open my mind to all this “attraction marketing” stuff and became eager to learn how to generate INTERESTED leads for free so I could then teach it to my team & clients.

It didn’t take long.

In fact, once I figured out my game plan, it took me just 3 days to generate my first list of over 1,000 (1,172 to be exact).

I still have that list saved in my computer. It’s like a dollar bill you see taped on the wall inside a small mom and pop store—their first dollar. Well, that’s how I feel about my first list.

My first list continued to grow… and it still produces new sales and income for me to this day.

Most of my clients and team members were baby boomers and literally FEARED the Internet.

Is Wow Green a Scam?

I have spent the past 3 years analyzing home based businesses and educating people on internet marketing to build their network marketing opportunity.

Wow Green is a direct selling company that has recently emerged as a company producing safe all natural household cleaners. Many people have asked if Wow Green is a scam.

After researching the Wow Green company and it’s corporate team I can say that Wow Green is a legitimate home based business.

From the research I did, I found the following.

The founder and CEO Allie Mallad is a well known franchisee with operations in Little Caesars, Applebees, Baskin Robbins, Golden Corral Steakhouse, Bruegger’s Bagels, Jiffy Lube, Mobil Oil and Big O’ Tire. He also gave rise the the Gelato di Roma concept.

He was entrepreneur of the year in 1991 presented by Ernst and Young, Merrill Lynch and Inc. Magazine.

The president of Wow Green, Jordan Zimmerman, is the founder and chairman of Zimmerman Advertising, the 14th largest agency in the United States with published billings in excess of 2 billion dollars.

The COO, CFO and VP of operations all have solid backgrounds. Each having 30+ years experience in executive roles.

Wow Green has decided to use the network marketing industry to bring its products to market. They are relying on word of mouth advertising to promote their products.

The company has decided on a binary compensation plan which places a distributor in the business with the job of building two teams of either customers or other distributors.

I was able to get my hands on trials of the product and they seem to work pretty good. Some of the products are slightly more expensive than others but overall they seem to be comparable.

Wow Green is not a scam and is a solid company with their main launch set for September 2009 in Las Vegas.
